Description

·         The OSYSU is used to monitor the open position of an OS&Y (outside screw and yoke) type gate valve

·         This device is available in two models; the OSYSU-1, containing one set of SPDT (Form C) contacts and the OSYSU-2, containing two sets of SPDT (Form C) contacts

·         These switches mount conveniently to most OS&Y valves ranging in size from 2" to 12" (50mm to 300mm)

·         Make sure the groove in the valve stem is at least as wide as the OSYSU roller or trip rod and is at least 1/2" deep. If not, use a 3/8" round file on the groove

Vertical & Wall Post Indicator

·         IP Vertical Post Indicator is used to identify the position of underground non-rising stem valve and provides means to operate the same non-rising stem gate valve. It is recommended for use in fire protection piping systems. The  post indicator is adjustable to accommodate varying bury depths.

·         WP Wall Post Indicator shows the position of non-rising stem gate valve and provides means to operate that same non-rising stem gate valve, when it is behind a wall.

 Water Motor Gong is a hydraulically operated outdoor alarm for use with fire protection systems. It is light weight and durable. In case of Fire-Sprinkler Systems the Alarm Gong can be installed on a wall with the motor inside the building and the gong outside for maximum audibility. The gong, protection cover and motor housing are made of corrosion resistant aluminium alloy.
